Jean-Roule: Hi brother, I’ve always loved your work, could you tell us a bit about your creative vibes?

Valentin: I would say my work is a mix of half ugly, funny and cute design. I love drawing dolmens and characters with funny hats. And at the moment I’m vibing a lot with archeology and cooking.

Jean-Roule: What a coincidence, I love eating! Any specialities you particularly like?

Valentin: My favourite things are snout salad, pizza with anchovies and "pâtés en croûte". Cooking "pâtés en croûte"... It's super technical and nobody likes eat them.

Jean-Roule: Ha! Nobody but me! Technical food is my favourite, I’m free tomorrow night if you insist. But enough about food, are you working on anything cool right now?

Valentin: Right now my energy is on finding new graphic styles for future riso prints. I've done the cover and the folder of the last Alters Echo and I have a double page in Phileas and Autobule #85 that should be out soon!

Jean-Roule: Looking forward to that! Ok, I have one final burning question. If you were a pack of fries, what sauce would you wear?

Valentin: The "small onion" sauce, for the hope that it is good.

Jean-Roule:mmmm small onion sauce sounds like a top notch accessory! See you tonight buddy!
